PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Carmelle Janelle, 86, formerly of New Hampshire, died Oct. 6, 2011, at the Courtyard of Horizon in Port Charlotte.

She was born on July 17,1925, the daughter of Norber and Rose (Fortin) Goyette.

She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1943.

After the death of her beloved Leon in 1970, she worked as a bookkeeper for Boucher Stitching while attending Hesser Business College. Later she worked at Precourt Pharmacy and before retiring she was employed by Stage One Productions Co. in Manchester, N.H.

After moving to Florida in 2003, she enjoyed carefree living and the sunny climate.

Carmelle was a devoted wife and mother and an accomplished seamstress. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a very sweet and loving lady.

She is survived by her son, Gerard, and his wife, Annette, of Punta Gorda; her daughter, Denise Berglund, and her husband, Mark, of Londonderry, N.H.; three grandchildren, Kathryn (Janelle) VonFeldt of Oak Ridge, N.C., and Julie and Jennifer Berglund of Londonderry, N.H.; and two sisters, Rita Langlois and Sister Germaine Goyette, CSC.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at J.N.Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, N.H.
